Mitigating Malware Risks
Abstract
Defending Computing Systems for malware
today has become increasingly difficult.
The constantly changing state of the interest has left many ways of malware writers to compromise a computer or network,
leaving a significant security risk.
Spread virus attacks are capable of damaging global economies. To design effective system, one has to
understand malware (malicious software) engineering
to detect and contain virus, worms and other harmful codes.
This lecture encompasses security threats and
countermeasures by understanding Malware engineering
and the techniques that can be deployed to prevent, contain, or slow the spread
of malware.
